Teaming up with IMA Clique, the team behind Bar Shuka, TOWER185 is bringing Middle Eastern-inspired street food to the Plaza every Wednesday until the end of October. Freshly made stuffed pitas come with crisp vegetables, flavour-packed sauces and changing fillings. Each week, there is a meat option as well as a vegetarian choice that can also be ordered vegan. A selection of sweet bites rounds off the lunchtime menu.
And the setting is every bit as important as the food. The Bar Shuka pop-up brings its own distinctive feel to the Plaza, with warm wood, greenery and Middle Eastern-inspired details. Rugs, pouffes and classic beer-garden tables and benches create a relaxed spot to meet and linger – out on the Plaza or tucked beneath the arcades, depending on the weather. Part street-food market, part urban lunch spot, it is the kind of place where you are happy to stay a little longer.
