After the successful trial phase, roll-out has started for the new signage and guidance system in the TOWER185 underground car park

In June of this year, the trial phase for the redesign of the TOWER185 guidance system and its adaptation to the new brand identity commenced at central points in the underground car park. Now, the new system will be rolled out throughout the car park.

The two large walls point you in the direction of the reception desk and the lobby respectively – with geometrical diagonals in an almost golden tone and a clear, black font. After an intense planning phase and various sessions testing samples on site, on Basement Level 1 you can now view the results of the new TOWER185 guidance and orientation system.

Comprehensive planning

A team of designers, technicians, and marketing experts initially took stock of all existing signage, messaging and their respective location in the underground car park. On the basis of this documentation, the plausibility of the signage was assessed. As part of the new concept, all old signs were removed, new ones defined, and the labelling and positioning simplified as far as possible.

Gradual implementation going forwards

The TOWER185 branding will now also greet tenants and visitors in the underground car park and with the new, clear design guide them to the lobby and the office zones. Gradually over the coming weeks, additional parts of the guidance concept will be implemented, including the signage in the underground car park entrance and exit ramps and the route leading to the lobby. At a later point in time, the parking slot numbering system for tenants and the free-flow slots will also be redesigned.
