TOWER185 supports Earth Hour 2025: united for our planet

On 22 March 2025 at 8:30 PM, the world will once again go dark for climate action! For another year in a row, TOWER185 is proudly joining Earth Hour, a global initiative where millions of people and businesses switch off their lights for one hour – a powerful statement for conscious energy use and resource conservation.

Why are we taking part?

As one of the most sustainable high-rises in Germany and Frankfurt, TOWER185 is deeply committed to responsible energy use. Earth Hour is a simple yet impactful reminder that every action counts – whether through mindful electricity consumption or sustainable choices in our professional and personal lives.

Earth Hour in numbers

A global movement: In 2024, over 7,000 cities across 180+ countries participated in Earth Hour.
Widespread action in Germany: More than 550 cities and municipalities symbolically switched off their lights.
Proven impact: In Vietnam, Earth Hour has already saved 400 megawatt-hours – enough to power thousands of households for a full day.

How you can join

Switch off! Turn off your lights at 8:30 PM on 22 March – whether at home or in the office.
Think sustainably: Take this moment to reflect on your energy consumption and explore new ways to reduce it.
Make it count: Share your participation on social media and inspire others to get involved.

The new HOME SPACE at TOWER185 – sustainable, hybrid, innovative

In the expanded HOME SPACE on the 45th floor of TOWER185, a walk-in vision has been created – a pioneering workspace spanning approximately 1,400 m² with four inspiring spatial experiences: from smart office environments and sustainable concepts to a unique event space.

Time to shine and to give – TOWER185 gets glammed up in the holiday spirit

The most wonderful time of the year is here, and TOWER185 shines with its festively decorated portal, two glittering Christmas trees, and the little Christmas woods on the roundabout. Employees have also been able to enjoy the Christmas special: In the form of hand-roasted espresso beans and fine organic chocolate, the TOWER185 team expressed their appreciation of the many valuable encounters in 2024.

Leisurely afterwork vibes with live music and a beer-to-go kiosk

Fresh draught beer or shandy courtesy of Frankfurter Brauunion is always a good way to mark the end of the working day. The two-evening afterwork happening on the forecourt with the beer-to-go kiosk and live acoustic music by Julio Hierrezuelo thrilled the TOWER185 community.

TOWER185 community enjoys this year’s second ice-cream event in the Summer Lounge

When the retro ice-cream van pulls up on the forecourt, it’s ice-cream time at TOWER185. For the second time this summer, more than 1,000 employees could look forward to some tasty time out on the forecourt of the high-rise, where they enjoyed sun, delicious ice-cream flavours, and the chance to chat to other members of the community.

After the successful trial phase, roll-out has started for the new signage and guidance system in the TOWER185 underground car park

The TOWER185 underground car park is being equipped with a new guidance system that has been adapted to reflect the high-rise’s current corporate identity. A new and modern design will now guide tenants and visitors to their destination.

As one of Frankfurt’s most prominent high-rises, TOWER185 has been chosen by the Hessischer Rundfunk (HR) broadcasting station for the first season of its multi-episode documentary “Inside Skyline Frankfurt”. The series presents an exclusive view behind the shiny facades of “Mainhattan”, Germany’s unique skyline.
